Singapore Government, ICICI Prudential Invest in ITC Following BAT’s Stake Sale Deal.

British American Tobacco (BAT) subsidiary Tobacco Manufacturers India sold 43.68 crore shares, or 3.50 percent ownership, at Rs 400.25 per share in ITC. Tobacco Manufacturers sold Rs 8,742.48 crore in stock, holding 23.87 percent of ITC till December 2023.

BAT sold Rs 16,775 crore ($2 billion) in a block auction on March 13. Through December 2025, BAT will buy back its own shares with stake sale profits.

At Rs 400.25 a share, the Singapore government bought 9.15 crore shares, or 0.73 percent. ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund bought 59.26 lakh shares, 0.04 percent, at Rs 400.25 each.

ITC shares rose 4.49 percent to Rs 422.40 on BSE on March 13.

Quantum Growth Partners LLP bought 1.06 lakh Markolines Pavement Technologies shares, 0.55 percent, at Rs 139.79. Quantum purchased 96,000 business shares on March 11.

At Rs 140 per share, investor Prakash Pai Peraje sold 96,000 shares, 0.50 percent. On March 11, he acquired 1.16 lakh firm shares.

On BSE, Markolines Pavement Technologies shares slid 6.5 percent to Rs 131.

New World Fund Inc. bought 27.89 lakh shares, or 1%, in APL Apollo Tubes at Rs 1601.1 average. Foreign Portfolio Investor Principal Global Investors Collective Investment Trust sold 15.31 lakh shares, 0.55 percent, at Rs 1,600.16. Principal Global owned 1.04 percent until December 2023.

NSE APL Apollo Tubes shares decreased 6.66 percent to Rs 1,486.5.

Polaris Banyan Holding bought 2.96 lakh shares, 0.66 percent of Indian Terrain Fashions, for Rs 78.94. Polaris bought 3.05 lakh business shares on March 12.

On NSE, Indian Terrain Fashions shares fell 9.13% to Rs 70.15.

Shantiram Kutumbkam Food Services purchased 15.52 lakh Ruchi Infrastructure shares, 0.70 percent, at Rs 10.5. Promoter Patanjali Foods sold 15 lakh shares, 0.68 percent, for Rs 10.5 each.

Ruchi Infrastructure shares rose 4.98 percent to Rs 11.6 on NSE.

Goldman Sachs (Singapore) PTE acquired 55 lakh South Indian Bank RE shares at Rs 2.9.
