Market Boom: Valuation Surge Adds Rs 67,260 Crore to Top Seven Firms, Reliance Leads

Market’s most valued firm remains the Reliance Industries, followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India, Infosys, LIC, ITC, and Hindustan Unilever.

The combined market valuation of seven of the top 10 most valued firms increased by Rs 67,260 crore in a holiday-shortened week, with Reliance Industries being the biggest gainer. The BSE benchmark climbed by 1.12%. The market saw only three trading sessions, with Reliance Industries’ valuation rising by Rs 45,262 crore to Rs 20,14,010 crore.

  • • HDFC Bank’s mcap rose by Rs 4,029 crore to Rs 11,00,184 crore.
  • • Hindustan Unilever’s mcap rose by Rs 2,819 crore to Rs 5,32,946 crore.
  • ITC’s Mcap Increased to Rs 5,35,032 Cr

Drop in valuations


• Tata Consultancy Services’ mcap declined by Rs 10,691 Cr to Rs 14,05,102.38 Cr.
• Infosys’ mcap decreased by Rs 4,163.13 Cr to Rs 6,22,117.38 Cr.
• Bharti Airtel’s valuation dropped by Rs 3,817.18 Cr to Rs 6,95,038.48 Cr.

Reliance Industries remains the most valued firm, followed by TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India, Infosys, LIC, ITC, and Hindustan Unilever.
