Top stock gainers

Freshpet (NASDAQ:FRPT) shares rose 12% as the pet-food manufacturer’s fourth-quarter revenue and earnings above analyst expectations, aided by higher sales as it increases media investment.
Domino’s Pizza (NYSE:DPZ) shares surged 7% after the restaurant company increased its dividend and authorized more share repurchases.

Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRKa) shares increased 2.1% as Warren Buffett’s company reported its second consecutive record annual profit, with the chairman assuring investors that it was ‘designed to survive’.
PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) shares increased 0.5% after the paint and coatings company said that it will consider strategic alternatives for its architectural coatings business in the United States and Canada.


Top stock losses

Intuitive Machines (NASDAQ:LUNR) shares plunged 25% after the space exploration business announced that its spacecraft had fallen over immediately after landing on the lunar surface.

Alcoa (NYSE:AA) stock slumped 3.3% after the alumina manufacturer announced a $2.2 billion bid for Alumina (OTC:AWCMY), an Australian rival and joint venture partner.

Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA) stock fell 1.6% after HSBC downgraded the drugmaker’s rating to’reduce’ from ‘hold’, maintaining a cautious outlook on the overall market potential for Moderna’s mRNA vaccine, projecting peak sales of $1.7 billion, which falls within the consensus range of $1.5 to $2.4 billion.

Ford (NYSE:F) stock dipped 0.1% after the automaker acknowledged that it has delayed delivery of all 2024 model year F-150 Lightning trucks due to quality checks for an undisclosed issue.
