Monday – April 01

US Manufacturing PMI: The ISM Manufacturing PMI index declined in February. Data for March will be updated.

China Manufacturing PMI: Caixin Manufacturing PMI edged up in February indicating expansion in factory activity. Data for March will be released.

Auto sales:- Data reports for Tesla, Nio, XPeng, Rivian Automotive, Li Auto, and Lucid Group are expected this week. Quarterly sales reports, Manheim Used Vehicle Index, Macau gross gaming revenue, Class 8 truck orders, firearm background check data, and discount broker DARTs reports are also expected.

Chicago Federal Reserve Bank President Austan Goolsbee will participate in a moderated question-and-answer session before the Multi-Chamber Economic Outlook Luncheon and Expo at 12:45 p.m.
